Alhagie Singateh was born in 1982 in a small riverine community in the hinterlands of The Gambia( W. Africa). He developed a passion for music and has become one of the Gambia's most successful artists. To read more about his background see his MySpace at the link below.

Winner of the first ever Rapper of the year award in The Gambia, co-counder of Energy Soundz International and owner of The Block Studios, Mo Hawk is the hyperactive champion of international hip-hop. His style is a fusion of cross-cultural sounds and deep lyrics. He is a unique rapper, a DJ, a songwriter, a radio show host and a producer. Ras Askia comes from The Gambia and is currently based in Denmark.
